Sorry, but this happens when you support Vale for a long time.  We do this during the season, a team we should beat and beat so easily we become our own worst enemies and gift them goals.

Just hope this is not the slide down the league some of the longer supporting fans have seen happen.

Not sure why Rodney was left on and Amoo came off.  Why did it take so long for Politic to come on to the pitch.  7 mins left of the game.

We've certainly gifted a fair few to the oppositions this season so far and by the looks of it, probably will do so in future games if we can't tighten up at the back!

Why? Is he good at defending free kicks?

No, but a third goal would have killed them. In football momentum counts for a lot and as <ovf censored> as they are, it's not really a surprise they won it after getting an undeserved equaliser late on.

One of those games 99 times out of 100 you win, I was furious we were going to draw that but when they got the free kick you just knew what was to come.

Two massive home games now, frustrating thing is Oldham by far the worst side we’ve played this season, that should of been convincing. Missed Smudge today that’s for sure.

Its okay saying that but we said that at Sutton as well... 6 or 7 games ago

Not sure how much of a problem it is, but our side is definitely smaller than most in League Two. We have a midfield on midgets if Walker isn't playing.

Clarke was correct, we didn’t miss the strikers, we cannot deal with balls in the box, and we need to work at it. Well we have been working at it, and it’s still happening. I am sure that DC knows that he has to rectify it in the Jan window.

Basically the blue print on how to beat us is stay in the game and lump the ball into the box as much as possible when you get the chance. Sadly for us a lot of League Two sides are perfectly happy to do the latter.

Unless it's rectified we're going to drop points against so many sides we're clearly better than.

Haven't you killed your own argument there? If this happens only every 6 or 7 games, and we react the way we have done on each previous occasion, we'll be right up there. Obviously not ideal, but all teams have this type of issue now and again. I'm not worried at all. Disappointed, yes. But not worried

Att. 6,088,  SVA 1,973     What a let down, Walsall Tuesday ???

Fosse, where are these stats from because I was wondering how they survive with their support. Super following today, the result was poor and I expect this result will have a huge affect on Tuesdays attendance

Do you comment this much when we win? You need chill out a bit. We’ll get there.

Embarrassing.

Smith back will make a big difference.

Politic from the start and Proctor asap.

It would happen just before arguably the biggest game of the season.

Beat Walsall and all is forgotten.

Agree with Smith for his effort and fight but dont forget his school boy error cost us last week.

3 at the back gives us more attacking play than i have seen at the Vale for 20 years but the 3 as a defensive block, especially in the air, is a poor set up. We have one genuine ' header ' of the ball, Smith and after that we are suspect.

Dont care what results we have had so far, the games i have seen have shown us to be suspect to crosses in the box. Even poor teams can kick a ball into the box and hope. We give them a chance.

Having supported Vale for 47 years have seen the Vale do this numerous times each season.  We normally self destruct several times during a season against a side we should be winning.

Good interview with DC and glad he thanked/apologised to the fans for not going home with 3 points. He takes no prisoners when the commentator miss quoted him as well.

See what side he turns out on tuesday and can only see the players having some quiet words from DC and Co at this moment.
