Well done to DC and everyone involved with the club on winning Manager of the month for October. That’s two consecutive MOTM awards.

And he should have won it once last season.

An impressive return in, what, 6 months of fixtures?

For the first award he had a photo of himself with the coaching staff, this one is the coaching staff and players...

See -

I'm looking forward to who's in the shot when he makes it three or four in a row 😉

On a more serious note, I think it's great symbolism to have a photo of him surrounded by the coaches and squad rather than just him with the award. Shows the unity and camaraderie at the club.

I might be going mad, who’s that stood in front of Jake Taylor? As it looks like DC’s recruited his twin to the playing squad.

It seems both Henry Winter from The Times and Ben Fisher from the Guardian were at VP yesterday so expect some nice long reads on Carol and DC this weekend.

I'm not sure this DC quote has been picked up in the local media but it's in the preview piece in the Bradford Telegraph and Argus. I think it's brilliant and sums up his approach...

"We are on the crest of a wave and we are enjoying it. But we are not enjoying it as much as everybody else should be, if that makes sense.

“We have to control that environment. Our fans, rightly so, need to be enjoying it, the board members and everyone at the football club needs to be enjoying that.

“But I am always slapping our lads and my staff down.

“Of course I enjoy it, I love watching my team perform because that’s what we do the work on the training pitch for. But nothing is achieved."

Proctor isn't it?

Winter and Fisher were, coincidentally, the best national journalists when it came to B&G vs Norman. Fisher especially spent ages on the phone learning about the situation. Both top fellas and I hope they were looked after yesterday (they obviously would because Carol is class).
