FA Cup R2 Burton A (Away) 2021

I’m struggling to comprehend why this isn’t being televised. The Pirelli Stadium holds just under 7,000, Burtons average attendance is just under 3,000. I think we might get 2,500-3,000, it’s a game that lots of fans won’t be able to get a ticket for as demand will quite easily outstrip demand. North Staffs against East Staffs. Salford... Really, are the Class of 92 running out of money

Anyone who does get a ticket go there be loud and proud, get behind the lads. Is there a replay, if it’s a draw.? May be that will be televised

I can't see Burton allocating us anymore than the normal 1400 terrace and 400 seats or something around that figure. Probably only be 4000 at the game even with us taking 1800. They would prefer have empty seats or empty terrace spaces than give away fans a bigger allocation.

Lost their last 3 homes games in a row apparently. 

I remember going there in summer 2011 I think it was and we were almost spilling over onto the pitch behind the goal.

Would be great to go there and win, it would be equally good to go there get a draw and bring Burton back to Vale Park and complete the job then. For me some of the best times at Vale Park have been when we've won an FA Cup replay on the Monday (As it was then). There was always something magic about the atmosphere, there was more singing, the dark sky, the cold and the floodlights.

Conversely when we lost an FA Cup replay at Vale Park it was devastating.

You call them Tinpot but for me a very well run club who I hope we can have achieve some of their success that they have managed in recent years.  They are not a club like Salford, Mansfield or those in the National League who are trying to buy their way to success.  Yes the stadium is small and their gates are awful but they deserve their place in league 1.  Looking forward to the game and a good day out in Burton.

I might be wrong here but sure they do it once a season and Crewe dropped on the other year , probably increased their following to about 300 😂😂

Why do the television companies think that the nation is desperate to see this lot when the people of Salford clearly don't give a toss about them?  Television fees must be their main source of income when you see the size of their crowds.

If it wasn't for the Man Utd old boys connection, Salford wouldn't get a mention in a newspaper, never mind be picked for live coverage every round.

On the topic of TV companies paying money out, is there any interest at all in the WSL, which is now being broadcast every week on BBC and ITV? Would love to know the viewing figures, and what's been paid for the rights
