Is it Ellis that came on in the trophy game a few weeks ago? I was impressed whoever it was.

Yes, it was him and it was indeed an impressive performance. Even after just one half I was thinking this lad has the makings. Be great to see him and Eden come through, not to mention Collinge after last night's performance.

Yes it  was the same Ellis Jones but he always plays at centre half for the yth team like he did last night. It was surprising and great to see him do so well in midfield for the first team. The star last night was James Plant, a winger from Werrington.

I think as a club now our aims are say if/when Conlon leaves then we can hopefully replace him with one of out homegrown players and then continue the cycle for the benefit of the club.... maybe Jones is one to do that,only time will tell

Is Agho still with the club? I saw a tweet from Vale about the youth team getting more match reports out which is well over due. Always enjoyed attending the FA youth Cup games.

He was given an extension to his youth scholarship at the end of last year as he was injured all year. Maybe he's injured again?

There seemed to be quite a few missing (Agho, John Clarke, Ben Sangare, Josh Nunes, Taz Chibaya) maybe there is an age restriction on the competion and these lads are too old?
