I noticed we didn't have a thread for the managerial moves this season so here it is..

Brought to you as Spurs boot out Nuno and Scunthorpe get rid of Cox (Mussie in join charge for next game)...

Good luck to Paul. I think I’ve just seen Daniel Levy stuck in traffic lights in Burslem town centre.

I wonder if Crosby will be on Scunthorpe’s long list… he was there with Adkins as assistant and his work here won’t be going unrecognised.

I have thought the same. I've long been concerned that Adkins would pop up somewhere more commutable to wherever Crosby lives, and convinces him to re-join him. Crosby has got it great here but he charged up the leagues with Adkins and, whilst I'm sure him and Clarke get on very well and clearly work together, but Adkins + Crosby worked together at 4 clubs.

Should have stayed at Wolves.

  • Fosse69 changed the title to Manager Merry-Go- Round 2021-22
Just looking at Stockport's game against Dover on Saturday, there were 3 ex Valiants on the scoresheet (Ben Williamson, Scott Quigley and Ben Whitfield). Anyone remember a game with more?
Before this season, I couldn't remember the last time Vale created 3 decent chances, never mind more than 4 ex Vale players scoring in 1 game

Not surprised that Stockport would target Challinor - not just because he won promotion from the National but also because he's got Hartlepool off to such a good start after losing so many of last season's squad. Clearly a talented manager. Just bet Stockport won't be welcome visitors at the Victoria next time they turn up, after the way they went about it.
