To be fair, there was nothing sinister with the Smith incident. Smithy trips their player who then pulls Smithy to the ground. Wolstanton Marsh stuff. Smithy wasn't rolling around the floor in agony like the 6' Bamby Pell would have done.

Two players having a good old tussle..... only the linesman saw it differently.

Am I the only person who saw the same player elbow Smith, in front of the empty Lorne St end, in the first 10 minutes?

He got away with that one.

Red looking the other way.

The last time we played at Accrington we lost 3-2 after being 2-0 up.  Their equaliser was scored by Billy Kee when he put the ball in the net with his hand.  After the game Coleman said, "There might have been some controversy about our second goal and we’ll have to see it again. We are due for some luck even if it is."  So there you have it John, you win some and you lose some.  Suck it up.

Now you see why I wasn't posting. If you think I am wrong why does it bother you so much? Lots of people put different opinions on here, some of which I disagree with but I don't abuse them.

Its not just a difference of opinion, you really have a massive agenda regarding DC and thats now clear to everyone, how can you not say you were wrong on a manager who at the moment has a 48.4% win ratio here and when you say enjoy it while it lasts sounds like you cant wait for us to slide down the table which imo is pathetic.

Just a couple of questions(you dont have to answer but i am sure if you do you will answer honestly)

What do you think about the football DC has us playing?

You have seen how together the squad is and how he is when he subs a player and at the end of games,so what do you really think of his man management of the squad?

Lastly do you think he has been superb for us so far and seems to be a good appointment? if not for what reason

I know I'm off topic ( 2 weeks premature ) but Smallsall have sold 837 tickets so far and been given another 840

Not a rumour , it's on official Twitter.

Hopefully we can get 2 positive results between now and then and could be a really good gate.  Still 2 weeks away, I can see them brining 1500 which is a pretty good following for a Tuesday night, surely we should be looking at 8000+ for this game.

Would be reminiscent of that Shrewsbury game when I think Gary Roberts got the winner.

😂 His comments over the summer about Clarke were an affront to the club and spirit Carol and Kevin are building.

He spent the entire summer knocking what they were doing.

This argument doesn't work. RZ can slag the club off all summer but we can't call him out as Carol is a nice lady? Nonsense. He should have been supportive of what Carol was doing, or at least willing to give it time/trust Carol's judgement before jumping on Clarke as a bloke.

He should have been less aggressive/incessant with his hatred of the manager Carol and Kevin employed. He looks daft. If it was the other way round he'd be parading round the forum and I'd accept I got it wrong. Fair game. I'm forthright with my views and accept stick if I get it completely wrong. It's a forum.

If he'd been less 'everywhere' with his view, people wouldn't be enjoying calling him out as much. He still hasn't the humility to accept he got it wrong; 'enjoy the success whilst it lasts'

Yeh joe, OVF is a message board where different opinions are posted and challenged and RZ’s post’s have been challenged from the moment he posted them. However it’s got to more than that now, it’s become incessant from the same posters’ especially after Vale win. It’s got to the point of being predictable, boring and there’s just no need for it.

I can’t remember RZ slagging off the club or being aggressive, he’s just not a DC fan which is his prerogative even if results are excellent at the moment. My Mind goes back to Ribeiro and his overseas signings that some fans became giddy over, when it didn’t work out there was no call to eat humble pie or anything like and no group witch hunt.

we should all enjoy what’s going on at Vale Park at the moment without the need to pillory a poster and a Vale fan.

If he just came out and accepted his incessant, snidey comments all summer were wide of the mark, or was equally as active when we win as he is when we lose, no one would comment.

I agree we should all enjoy it, and as RZ says, "enjoy it whilst it lasts".  😇

"I'm not really bothered about what people think of me" says John Coleman.  This is the man who - when asked if he wanted to talk again about the Vale match decided to do so rather than not commenting. Then he goes off on a two minute tangent about the Vale fans' reaction when he wasn't even asked a question about it. Yep, he's definitely not bothered what people think of him.. :whistling:

Unfortunately for him, and quite rightly, opening his mouth in the manner he has, only makes more people have less respect for him--so a little ( scratch that for large) example of shooting oneself in the foot.  Well done Mr. Coleman!
