I wont be gettint excited about it until February i think last season showed how fast teams can drop down after the start of the season so although been a great start theres a hell of a long way to go yet

If you're relying just on Vale with a fortnight of the season to go, I'd cash in at that point if I were you!

I find it sad really. I'm more in the wishing our ex-players well type.

He looked like a player that was more than capable in the football league when he was with us shortly

Maybe in retrospect he probably should have stayed with us rather than go to Bradford as things had just clicked here with how we were using him. Whether he’d have sustained it we’ll never know. Always seemed a decent enough lad though so all the best to him.

We are now slowly but surely becoming a club where players want to come too because we are more professional and players are looked after. Because of the quality of the squad we don’t have to play anyone who is not 100% fit. A lot of ground work has been done by our owners that may not be apparent but in the long term will benefit the club. So good to be a Valiant at the moment!

I agree although I must say his celebration after scoring against us for Bradford was very OTT. Without Vale he'd never of progressed. Although Tamworth is one quick fall from grace.
