We (the Fielding family) are matchball sponsors on Saturday.

It was my 50th during lockdown so it's a delayed birthday present to be in the posh seats.

I'm really looking forward to the behind the scenes tour as I've heard lots about the improvements to the tunnel area, dressing rooms etc.

I'll try and put some photos on here if I get any good ones.

After that performance you’ll have to sponsor the next game as well.

Anybody hear Clarkey on RS . He really gives it to Mr Bowers .

As soon as Bowers mentioned how poor Colchester were first half Clarke bit his head off saying that is because we need credit for it.

I'm not bothered about Colchester !! Brilliant Clarkey neither am I.

You can develop players for years in top academies, and they still won't learn the innate attributes that Gibbo has.

He's an excellent player in a load of ways, but his seething aggression, work-rate, and borderline viciousness in everything he does isn't coachable. He looks perpetually fuming at everything and everyone and it reflects brilliantly in the way he plays.

Him clattering their lad in the 2nd half, after the ball was out and the player was two yards off the pitch, was top drawer. Vintage Gibbo. Future captain.

Gibbo is absolute class. His desire shines through. He's capable of playing left and right back, he can score the odd goal, his commitment is second to non. Top quality player and one I'm sure will unfortunately leave us one day for a decent pay-out for the club.

You are 100% correct. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you havent got the desire, mental strength and will to win then you won’t make it in the game. Aside from his quality and how he’s improved as a player, his aggressiveness and tenacity set him apart from many players that play in his position in this league and I think there are very few like him. Look at the players he’s seen off competition from that play in his position over the time he’s been at the club, some of them who’ve played higher up. Sometimes fans get carried away with players that we bring in from other clubs and they get all the attention, but right under our nose we’ve got local players that could go on to play higher.

An utter flogging and should have been 5 or 6.

I was listening to the Not the top twenty podcast this morning and they tipped us to win, saying "I'm not sure who the second best team in league two is yet, Its probably Swindon but it could be vale" well I hope this weekend clarifies the point for them emoji16.png

I`m not sure we are second best.

Am I right that prior to kick off Garrity was second top scorer ?

If correct we had our top 2 scorers missing and won 3-0 at a canter.

Very promising. Loved Politic first half he was terrific and they didn't have a clue how to handle him.

Wonder why given our form apart from the fact it was quite cold that the crowd dropped by 300-400 .

You're missing out.

Squad is now showing why we are 2nd in the division.  Every player now  playing a part in the mighty whites resurgence. Interchanging positions and tactics are demanding respect from every other club. Fantastic feeling growing throughout the fan base as all our players seem capable of causing havoc/ scoring. Shots from everywhere, scintillating crosses hard into the box, intricate passing movements making defences dizzy, I could go on and on.  What a time to be a Valiant! Now I honestly believe getting out of this god awful division is squarely in our own hands. Conner wait to cheer on the lads at Crawl6next week. VITD.
