Comfortable win for us and up to 2nd, Stoke lose, last minute winner for God's team against Crewe, last minute equaliser for Josh Gordon against Warsaw.

Occasionally, just occasionally, football really is the beautiful game.

Up the beautiful Vale!

Looks a comfortable win from here in Cornwall. Seems Vale save the nerve-shredders for when I’m in situ, or was it more competitive that the score suggests? How were Politic and Rodney?

It was a stroll and we should have won by more. But at 2-0 they did have a couple of chances so you usually always need that third goal, which we got.

Good result today. They were woeful up front. A better team would've punished us, but they weren't and didn't so up too second we go. Good job lads.
Waiting at the bus stop to go home atm and two guys moaning about Vale and DC emoji849.pngemoji848.png you seriously couldn't make it up. UTV

What the hell are they moaning about? Are they still pining for Pope and Brown? Ridiculous.

Today was fantastic. We look every bit promotion contenders. There are going to be ups and downs, but let’s back the lads! UTV.

Teams are now marking him more due to his speed and raw talent.  However, this allows our other players more room.
Just needs to learn, and it will come under our coaches, to loose his markers and create chances for him to score.  Have faith in him to do this.  He is still learning his trade, so will take time.
He did brilliantly to get the ball and get it set up for the first goal. I thought he had a good game today tbf

Never seen such a lackadaisical, couldn't care less performance by a pro football team, Colchester were absolutely awful and Vale duly dominated and won the game.

Gibbo excellent, give Conlon space and time and he'll pick the opposition apart which he did today.

Looking good for Vale, should be up there come the end of the season barring another "Whodunit".

Maybe we made them look so bad just as Mansfield did to us at times earlier this week. Sometimes you just have to give credit to your opposition on the day. But the truth usually lies somewhere in the middle.
