Big Jamie Proctor

He was wonderful today. Looked like a Championship player in the first half. Subbing him was an absolute brain fart from Clarke and helped to cost us the game. He clearly wasn't injured as he looked angry to be subbed. Explain that one, Darryl, you twonk!

Right now he's the first name on the team-sheet.

Set pieces he heads most away he is not just a excellent striker he is also a excellent defender of balls in the box .

When looking at updates earlier I  thought oh no do not take him off .

He really is our best player .

Glad he scored he deserves score in every game we would have won if he stayed on no problem Lloyd is not the answer .

Nothing against Lloyd, he's a rookie still learning the game. But he's nothing like Proctor as a player, and replacing Proctor with him was an absolute car crash of a decision. Bet the Sutton lot couldn't believe there luck.

can't keep him on if he’s injured. Tried that with Legge and look how that turned out.

Was he actually injured enough to be brought off though? His reaction to getting subbed didn't suggest so.

One thing is for sure, you can't bring on someone like Lloyd for Proctor unless you absolutely have no choice. They were always going to get well on top of us without having someone up there who can make it stick.

Aren't all of the stats and in game numbers are being tracked these days?

My guess is they saw his output fall through the floor and coupled with the injury didn't want to risk him.

Hindsight and emotion makes it easy to say "That was the wrong thing to do"

Cold hard assessment is what's needed... it wont work every time, but its the better approach.

Yeah, it probably was the right thing to do if there was any injury concern. But personally speaking, I knew the moment he went off that we were going to struggle, and that's exactly what happened. I do think taking him and Wilson off at the same time was also a bit daft.

Based on what Clarke said I think it was precautionary but better to lose him for 25 minutes rather than 4 games .

It sure did contribute but we should still of been more than capable of ' holding on ' .

Proctor after his cameo against Sunderland has been pretty much the main man. He is vital at the moment.

Squad already tested, Legge and Martin our big defenders both out at the same time isn't ideal but I do think the squad has options to cope unfortunately on Saturday it was a constant bombardment and we buckled

Do you think we’re live tracking stats? Not saying we’re not I’m genuinely asking, because that would be a lot different from past approaches!

I don’t know is the honest answer, I know they wear the vest during the games but not sure if they get any immediate / live feedback
