Strange half for me. It at times it’s looked a bit harem scarem at the back and the ball has spent a lot of time in the air so I’ve never really felt we had control of the game. That said, when we’ve got it down we’ve played some brilliant football and created four arguably gilt-edged chances (including the goal) and I just hope we don’t regret our wastefulness in front of goal. We need to play on their two CB’s with both on yellows. These are a very big side and have won most of the first balls so we need to be alive to the flicks and absolutely no give any needless corners or free kicks away. These haven’t looked a patch on Rochdale but there must be more to come from them given their record so far.

A closely fought one. Any team is capable of beating all the others in this league--just ask anyone trying to do the prediction league competition!!

Too easy and very lazy to say this is a tinpot League - many of the clubs in this League - and the next League down - have been improving over time...and yes...some of this will prove to be unsustainable, which just puts them on a par with Clubs higher then the,.

I never said it is a "tinpot league" on the contrary, what I'm saying is the same as you--it is generally a well-balanced competitive league with only a couple of stand-out teams at the top and bottom--as I said, very difficult to predict results!

I know BycarsBill - I didn't mean to imply you were saying that...I just meant to add a comment rather than quote you! There has been a couple of posts on here, calling it a tinpot League, or similar - which, as we've both said - is massively unfair to those clubs that have strived to improve!

Knew it. Can't miss chance after chance, especially against one of the better sides in the league. Same thing happened against Rochdale when we were well on top.

Momentum is everything in football. Do well to get a point now in a game we could have been winning 4-0
