Nice goal by Politic. Proctor should have scored twice in the first half. Pleased that we won after Tom Conlon gave the ball away to let them score their second. Lucky that the ref gave a free kick for the Wilson foul on the edge of our area when they were about to break away. Could have gone either way really. Good to see Jake Taylor come on and look lively. Thought we had a new right back because his hair has changed colour. Gibbo seems to have shaken off his injury and looked good if a little too aggressive at times.

How did you remember the full back had changed his hair colour with your short term memory issues🙈

I remember Harry Smith when he was at Macc, he’s always had a short fuse and acted like a proper wand on the pitch whenever he’s played against us.

One thing for sure he wasn’t 6ft 4’’ at the end leaving the tunnel sheepishly, and not keen to ‘engage’ with Lorne Street when he was quite keen to do so 20 minutes earlier 😉👍

Not convinced about the keeper if I’m being honest. Had no real saves to make but thought his kicking was a bit hit and miss and he was slow on their 2nd. Not calling for a change yet though.

Very very harsh on the keeper. The 2nd took quite a big deflection took it away from him.

I remembered that the right back had blond hair and did long throw ins but noticed yesterday that the right back had dark hair, had the same number and did long throw ins so I guessed that it might be the same player.

Worrall is right wing back. Jones is left sided centre half.

Then Conlon runs off with it leaving Smith in his wake 🤣🤣🤣

The goal cam view of the winner captures all this beautifully, particularly love the moment it takes for Smith to realise that Lucas has nicked it off his toe and is taking it with him, before he sets off in pursuit! 🤣

I also noticed Pett takes a little detour past there defenders and no doubt gave a bit as he ran past:kiss:

Although we probably shouldn't highlight it, it'll be reported and he'll face a 3 match ban😶

Really pleased for Amoo, he got his chance and he made a real impact.  I thought in previous games he would've been a good player to bring on, he has decent pace, can go up the middle or create chances from out wide as yesterday.

Also nice to see Proctor congratulating Politic after his goal yesterday, you can imagine him in the mentor type role, seems like a decent guy to have around.

Nicking this off a mate but very valid points he made , aside from the odd loan where sometimes it's difficult to settle or get game time he has spent most of his career at a higher level.

This run in the team is doing him the world of good. He's missed some sitters for sure but his contribution has been top drawer .
