There are a few utter <Edit> on here - all too quick to jump all over other Vale fans for expressing their opinions.

An opinion formed after around an hour, out of 7 games, of seeing the guy play. Can you not see how that would irritate the majority, particularly when he had absolutely nothing positive to say after the 2 goals scored by us?

Irritate the majority - no.

Irritate a few utter <Edit> - definitely.

Excellent performance.

A couple of individual errors cost us the game but we passed the ball extremely well creating chances.

Huge competition for places in most areas of the pitch - I need to see much more from Rodders though in ana area the penalty area. I'm beginning to loose a bit of patience with him.

Felt that was a great performance and deserved more but promising signs, the first half after their goal we played some absolutely superb football and the interchanging movement between players was causing Bolton all sorts of problems.

Positive few days and signs we may be on the cusp on pushing on.

All I can say to that is quote RobF:

3. Surely it's pretty simple to still make the point without swearing. If you can't then the point mustn't be very good one.

Couldn't have put it any better

So we pushed a strong  league 1 Bolton all the way, played some great football, scored 2 good away goals, sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and accept it.

If we play like that every week against league 2 sides we’ll win more than we lose.

Unlucky to lose that game.

Still not a fan of 3-5-2. Gibbo is not far off being fully match fit, what does DC do when he is if he still continues to play that system.

The only thing I like about 3-5-2 is that it allows us an extra midfielder. If we go 4-4-2 then we have to choose from just two between Conlon, Pett, Garrity and Walker. All seem too good not to start. 4-3-3 is probably the way to go.
