Some good pics there, pity there were no captions attached saying who the players were, I could identify most of them but not all.

hope there was a good turnout and a few Bob was raised for his widow and kids.

Noticed Pope playing without the cast on his wrist.

Yeah, I was unsure of who some of the players were. The result was immaterial but would have been interested to know the teams etc too. Anyone there?

As the Vale team all wore no. 15, and all the goals were credited to Lee Collins, apart from those scored by his daughter, it was difficult to spot all the players.  On the picture, above, you can see -

SHUKER,DICKINSON,YATES,MCCOOMBE,MORRIS,PERRY,LOFT,?,DODDS,TAYLOR,SUTTON,HALDANE, MORSEY,ADAMS (Apologies if I've got any wrong).
Then there was  GRIFF, POPE, DUFFY, PAYNTER, RICHARDS, ROBERTS, DAGNALL plus a few others playing.  RUDGE and FOYLE were also there.

It was a very enjoyable afternoon.  I left straight after the game but a few folk went back to the bar and I'd guess were joined by a some of the players.

Wow some names there. I'd have got about half. Good of them to give up their time. Good it raised some cash and good that you enjoyed your afternoon Ray.

Like I said, it was a great afternoon.  A few beers in town then a couple more at the match. Some banter between the players.  Wished I could’ve stayed longer after the game.

Edit: I will just add that 100% of the funds raised we’re going to the family of Lee, so a very worthwhile cause.  To see the kids out on the pitch was very poignant.
