They used to get just over 1,000 when they played at 'The Lawn' in the conference, so they have doubled their attendance

Accrington only got just over 1,000 when they came up; they haven't done too bad since and have built up their home attendance

Like a library today, truly awful home support. Only time I heard them today was second half when they randomly goaded a Cov goal kick.

He's been consistently very  good.  Wherever he has played. Garrity was tremendous today. And he made the difference second half Stevenage. Proctor has been a revelation. Played well every time and goals too? Benning looked more himself today.

Credit to DC for getting it spot on. I wouldn't say Cass and Rodders were dropped on performance, probably DC is just choosing personnel for the specific game? Probably a good thing.

Full marks all around today. A comfortable win away at the league leaders.

First sign for me that the matrix might be pointing us in the right direction. Long way to go,  but that was a very promising showing.

I think that the front 2 of Wilson and Proctor offered so much more defensively and maybe offensively , both are far more mobile than Rodney unless maybe playing on the break.  It was clear when Rodders came on and was fresh just how much little closing down he actually did.  Should've been busting a gut for me after the effort his team mates put in.

On the subject of RS, really enjoyed the idiot caller who rang in to say that the <ovf censored> are going to be champions, after Mike Pejic had said they could have easily been battered 6-0 today and were lucky to only concede 3. Brilliant.

They've scraped some wins agains teams all in the bottom 5, faced a genuine promotion contender, and have been absolutely smashed.

Lots of tears on the trains tonight. Excellent stuff. Already questioning O'Neill (again) after worshipping him as they edged out some relegation farmers.

Not happy with today at all. We SHOULD have scored at least 3. Covolan has been sensible and kept another clean sheet. They've had more possession than us. Just not good enough. Can't see where the goals are coming from. DC OUT!

But - sadly - that is an eerie likeness!!!

And, after today, would anyone suggest dropping Garrity? Some interesting choices for DC!

Not only that, but how on earth is Jake Taylor going to force his way into that midfield, with Conlon and Garrity ahead of him?

On current form, that's true but it's a long season and football's fortunes are fickle - there may be plenty of opportunity for Taylor to play if we have a string of injuries. And once you're in, it's yours to keep if you play well. We may be glad we have him at some point in the season.

Here's hoping the lad gets back to proper fitness because he has loads of potential.
