boring, boring. bad luck again, but he picked the right formation err🥵

Did he actually say all that? I know he said the shape was right, but there were basic errors - wasn't that what our knowledgeable fans were saying in the first half? Not sure about the "boring, boring, bad luck" though?

Didn't like the part of the interview where he claims,"well, I've done my job",as though absolving himself from the first half performance.

I didn't get that impression.  There are clearly people commenting on here who have taken against DC, and their comments reflect that.  I'm not interested in liking or disliking him, what matters is results and performances.

IMO they have not been what we hoped for yet, but it is still far too early to judge, moan or carp on about people.  Give the bloke a break and some support.

He said we were crap first half which we were.  He said we were much better second half which we were.  Can't disagree with any of that.

He's in charge of making sure we aren't crap 50% of the time. He's also the person who should take responsibility, rather than say how well he'd prepared the team.

I have not taken against DC at all,but he is responsible for that first half performance ,he chose the starting X1 and he should have them motivated to perform. I wish him all the best,it is early days but he has to back up his arrogant manner with results, plain and simple.

I wasn't worried at all before but I am a bit subsequent to that interview.

I am struggling to understand what he sees in the system that produced that abject display today, and in almost identical circumstances, the first half against Northampton, that's left him thinking "yep that's the one for me."

Even without individual stupid mistakes, I can't see how hoofing it over an outnumbered midfield to two forwards who aren't targetmen is going to work at this level.

Not a loaded question, I would genuinely like to know what technical/tactical reasons he has for saying it was the right shape today as all I'm seeing is open season down the centre for the opposition time after time after time. There must be some aspect I'm not getting.
