One record Port Vale could regain this season...

I like reading the Guardian Knowledge section where they ask unusual questions about football. This week's article has a small piece on Port Vale.

Stuart Silvers has this to offer. “Last season Port Vale became the only club to have beaten all the other current 91 in a league match when they beat Harrogate Town on 5 April. They lost that record when Sutton were promoted – but will of course regain it if they beat Sutton home or away this season.”

So, should Vale win against Sutton this season they will regain their proud record 🙂

I dislike Stevenage the club. The water bottle Kings, masters of fake injuries etc. So not scoring on Saturday is totally unacceptable. They need to be monumentally thrashed. Please.

Really interesting fact that Rob and a proud record especially if we can regain it by beating Sutton. I work in a large international company and football is a common discussion thread on the Zoom calls with pretty much any team you can think of supported by someone. Thankfully many are genuine season ticket holders like most of us supporting their local team rather than the current premier or champions league favourites. So this fact has propelled me into pole position for an interesting fact and stops my international friends only associating Vale with Robbie Williams. UTV
