Yeah international breaks are the exception.

Does anybody know why?

Big reason is that there are no Prem and champ games and ultimately it is the bigger clubs that carry the weight on sustaining that rule. Nobody really cares about sustaining the rights of league 1 and 2.

It just seems to go completely against what they claim the rule is for in the first place (to ensure attendance in person is not affected). Annoys the hell out of me. Would be interested if there's any evidence that attendances in person are actually affected when the games on a Saturday afternoon are streamed on ifollow

According to the club on twitter, 100% of your hard earned goes to the club now.  A few changes this year. Any matches selected for live coverage will also be available live on ifollow. During the world cup, Saturday matches will be available in the UK. League/FA cup matches still not covered live but are available for full re-run after the game.

For those interested ifollow has been fine so far this season. A few annoying graphics have crept in during the game, and the actual coverage only starts a nanosecond before kick off. Minor irritants.

And bring back the goal symbol so you can rewind back to watch goals again at half/full time.

Good to know the club make more out of iFollow.

To be more accurate they say 100% of revenue generated.  They seem to be pushing it a bit more now, which makes sense. From what Garlick has said our ifollow-ing is pretty good and income not to be sniffed at.

This is not to say don't go down the game and watch on the cheap. Going down the game beats everything. But if you can't for whatever reason, can't get a ticket, can't do the journey, live abroad, on holiday... it's a way to watch the game that shoves money the club's way.

I tend to only miss a few but with Ipswich and Plymouth being night games I don't think I'll be going. Also can't wriggle out of working v Wycombe in a few weeks.

So ifollow a good alternative. Is it still Radio Stoke commentary though ? 🤔

Yep - still Radio Stoke. You can switch between home and away commentary too.
