Don’t bother sent an email over a week ago and received a message back that I would be contacted within 48 hrs …… no contact.
Phoned the number every day several times a day and got no answer until Sunday , when they had my details and said they would contact me later. Then had a returned call saying they would call me again today and as yet no call and still no confirmation I’ve got a table.
Very poor and does not give me confidence the meal will be that good

Strange, I emailed one morning a week or so ago (couldn't get through on phone) and had a call back that day, couldn't have been easier. Looking forward to giving it a go this Sunday.

I would like to give an update, following my earlier post within 10 minutes I received a call back from Events and confirmed a booking of a table of six.
Just come out having been for the lunch and all I can say is it was fabulous, well worth the hassle.
Definitely be going again the food was top class.

Really good Sunday lunch, not the absolute best I've ever had, but certainly a fair cut above your average pub grub and plenty of it; can't fault it, especially for the price. 👍

What made it special though was the setting, (so good to be back at VP!), the service, the front of house, all so friendly, just top drawer stuff, and to cap it off a good chat with Carol & Kevin. Must have been chatting to each of them for a good 10 minutes, Carol obviously more of a natural at this sort of thing, but Kev is such a sound bloke too, lovely to have a natter to both of them. Our club is in such good hands 👏

Just got back from Sunday lunch, what a great day,tour of the ground with my kids and grandkids.

As we were on the way out was told a lady wanted words with me,_ Carol giving me a birthday card and gift, even the lardie son in law was impressed.
