Huge respect to the Danish players. Firstly to put a protective wall around their team-mate and then to have enough fortitude to step on the pitch to complete the match which has in all effect saved the competition whilst only being concerned about their friend and colleague. That must have taken some doing. I, for one, wouldn't have blamed them if they had decided to forego the competition.

He had a cardiac arrest, not a heart attack as some people believe, and there is a difference between the two. A cardiac arrest is much more sudden, and is usually the heart's electrical system suddenly malfunctioning. Whereas a heart attack is less instant, and has the obvious symptoms. Basically, being a footballer, Eriksen's heart muscle itself will no doubt be in great shape due do his lifestyle. But if the electrical system goes then it's exactly the same for an elite sportsmen than it is for an average Joe from the street.

Shocking scenes and you would have to be pretty messed up not to be shaken by it.

Champions league winner Chillwell not picked yet Trippier is more of a right side player gets in. What has Sterling done to get in the side. He’s gone for experience, and that is why we will never win anything under Southgate.

Is Chillwell fully fit and being saved for later games?

The left back situation is the equivalent of last season.

Gibbons starting RB , Mills LB .

With Monty and Fitzpatrick on the bench.

Absolutely bizarre no logic decision from Southgate. Shaw has resurrected his career and been excellent, Chilwell been ok but not as good as Shaw.

Awful decision.

And Sterling should be nowhere near the team. 2 trophies ,  Champions League runner up yet he's been terrible for the majority of the season.

Strongly agree with you. We will also be missing Shaw's value for crossing/assists. Especially puzzling as this decision has not been made through injury or worries about lack of experience. Baffling

If Grealish was at a big 6 club, he would be one of the first names in the team.

I understand that he's not everyone cup of tea due to his theatrics

He'll win free kicks, penalties and is that something different most teams need or indeed have.
