Possible good news but please take it with a pinch of salt. There is a genuine photo on twitter showing him sat up with eyes open, conscious on the stretcher. There's a hand on his forehead but it's unclear if it's his own. Hopefully it means they successfully resuscitated him on the pitch.

From radio 5 it is his hand and now in hospital. Brilliant news

Thank goodness he is stable. I really hope he pulls through. They were horrible scenes to watch and a total lack of disrespect and privacy to be shown on tv like that.

That was horrendous to watch. Shame on the BBC for continuing to stream pictures of him when it was clear he was having CPR. Racehorses get more respect than that with a big screen straight away

When it happened to Muamba, wasn't there a cardiologist in the crowd who ran onto the pitch? Like you say, if it's going to happen, best in these circumstances than when you're on your own

Amazing news so happy he seems to be ok. Shame on the bbc though, but massive credit to his team mates. Horrible scenes but at least he seems to be ok and stable

That was the worst thing I’ve ever witnessed on tv. Showing not only distressed players, family, fans but also showing the cpr was upsetting. Fair play to the Denmark players for doing their best to shield him, that must have been terrible for all involved. Good news that he’s awake though.

The DBU are saying the game will be continued later tonight. Not sure about the sensibility of that, UEFA pressure can sod off.
