To be fair they only need to be paid every other month and they'd still be getting a salary better than most of us.

 

I echo this sentiment from ST. The main thing now is to not assign blame to other fans, take the moral high ground or scrutinise the impact that factors external of the board room have had on cash flow. If we don't unite to save our club now it may not survive in any recognisable or respectable form. Everyone who has Vale at heart wants to see competency at the top which facilitates good football on the pitch. No individual sections of the fan base can actualise that alone by pursuing a specific agenda. Let's trust the interim board (if the inevitable has occurred) to do their job and steer us to better times. We CAN and WILL rebuild this club from the ashes if we are all of one mind and adopt the same direction.

That's not the point though. You can't just go round and say well he doesn't need to be paid as he has more money than me. If the agreement is that players will be paid at the end of a month, then they should be paid at the end of each and every month!
