Yep, in recent years the combination of Vale and Stoke could have reclassed the area as The Tin-Potteries! 😆

Under the 'stewardship' of Bratt and then Smurthwaite, we're as tinpot as they come.

It still hurts that we're now more tinpot than Morecambe though!

And I just don't like them as a club, stems back years for me. Openly admit I am bitter and jealous about their success.

We have zero right to be above them. Well done them. But we should have a reasonable expectation that we should, if well run, be able to outperform them. Not a dig at the current owners, just the damage that has been festering for years.

Plus the only time we made any significant money from a player recently, Norman trousered it.
