Yeah I like that signing, sort of player our long-term strategy should be after.

I don't think the sell on clause means anything, I think it's standard practice for City/elite academies to to do so in any sale of an academy player.

An interesting window. Far too early to say whether we've gotten better or worse. Will be interesting to look back at it in May.

Don't think there will be any other signings - media guys seemingly done for the day and Clarke only mentioned the one other signing on Friday.

Jermaine Defoe is signing for Sunderland apparently on a 6 month deal! Now he would have been a short term signing that absolutely nobody could have moaned about! Different galaxy in wages though obviously

They had to try something after getting walloped at the weekend on the back of some questionable recent results. Maybe when we play in a new(ish) 48,000 seater stadium that regularly attracts 30,000+ in the 3rd tier we’ll stand a chance….?

Anyway, whilst he doesn’t exactly sound like the answer to our RB problems, Sammy Robbo sounds like a very good signing.

Happy with that id say any of them playing for city u23s is good enough for the football league, clever signing i dont think he will be someone demanding to start when everyone is fit and can help out in the mean time with the hope of developing him over the next year or so turning him into a asset to sell. Well done vale 👏🏼

They got pumped 5-0 by Rotherham in the EFL Trophy and went out at the group stages so that's not true.

Robinson didn't play in that game though. Undefeated in the four EFL Trophy games he played in over the years. Not much to go on but it is a positive sign
