There are a couple of interviews with him online where he's said he feels it is his best position.

May have changed as he has gotten older. This is his interview when he signed his season long loan at Harrogate for this season where he says his preferred position is left back.

You got links to the other interviews? I’m that sad and starved of news I’m going deep on research! 😂

He's not little he's over 6 foot. In the Harrogate game there was scant evidence he's a fullback who overlaps. His distribution was ok. If you were to blame snyone for Worrall's goal it was his positioning. He certainly didn't look like a natural wingback, more a defender first and foremost.

I didn't mean he's physically short. But thanks for the update on his height. He'd be a good signing IMO. You're judging him from one game against us last season...

He has a great left foot, a long throw & can defend. I'd be happy if we signed him.

The perfect player doesn't exist in any position in league 2. The manager's job is to decide what he wants players to be good at in each position.  Pullis did well at times with 4 centrehalves.

I'd agree you can't judge the quality of a player on a single game. I think you can get a feel for what a players instincts are in different situations. For me IF we go down the 352 route I'd want someone in the wingback role whose inclination is to get outside the fullback. Jones didn't look to do that. Whether he is a good fullback I don't really know but to me he looked very much someone who can play fullback as opposed to being a wingback; which are 2 slightly different positions.

How can DC simultaneously be according to Mike Baggaley off on holiday this week but also be at VP yesterday meeting James Wilson?
Good question mate lol, but for 1 guy to say on Thursday he was there, and then for another guy to say the same but with more detail, would def say its true, especially as the 2 Sources don't know one another, they are both totally genuine lads, and the later source with more detail does work with Wilsons Brother in Law.
