I don't think it is unprofessional to give people a trial. Surely if you are thinking of taking a punt on a player from much lower down the pyramid it is more professional to have them in on a trial having watched a couple of games than to make the decision purely on a couple of games and scouting reports.

You can identify someone and decide to take a better look in a trial. The problem is when you are depending on multiple trialists being good enough to complete your squad.

The previous owner  was really professional about his signings , gosh what a to55 er.

Is the knack spotting a player who will become that 20 goal a season striker. I believe Rodney can be that player with the right coaching. Whereas fans are clammering for more signings I think one thing all fans can agree on is we already have enough coaches.

Thankfully, it isn't up to the fans to decide when we have enough coaches!

Does anyone know whether EFL and iFollow made a decision on whether they would stream games again domestically next season?

I just think of my dad who lives down south and watched every game (poor soul) last season. Realistically in normal times he'd go to a few southern away games and maybe a few home games. Also he works half days every other saturday.

My point being that if it's priced properly there has to be a sweetspot of increasing revenues from fans who can't attend in person, but it's not so cheap to decrease the amount of walk ins.

I think ifollow did a survey on some of this but wasnt sure if anything had been announced?

Fairly sure I read somewhere that the plan was to revert back to what was the norm pre-pandemic, so not streamed domestically.  Obviously going forward this would have to depend on any guidelines regarding numbers of fans allowed in stadia.

Someone we should have been after

I wonder whether Eisa is the type of player we are even considering.

DC wants a team of tough, big, hard running, die for the cause, 'orrible barstewards.

I have seen and read comments about Eisa being a bit of a luxury, smash him in the first 5 mins and he can often go missing in games. He isnt going to be putting in the KM defensively, tracking back and holding shape.

Plymouth fans say that Adams likes to have a very boring defensive set up with one or two maximum, flair players that try and nick a goal.... Eisa will be one of them.
