They've signed Darren Pratley.

Can't really ask for a better start to replacing them.

I would have been very surprised if he was not on our list of possibles. Maybe he was our 2nd or 3rd choice  but snagged the 1st choice instead ready to be announced next week.

What I was trying to word was that say if Vigouroux was our first choice keeper and say our second choice was say that ex-Man City Academy keeper who had played no league games for us was the back up there is some regulation that allows for the "emergency signing" of a keeper outside the transfer windows or used to be some such provision should the first choice get injured......thinking Vigouroux's distribution plus Walkers diagonals and Jones' flat fast long throw would constantly turn defenders running towards their own goal and would be great weapons to add to dead ball specialist Conlon's free kicks.

If a keeper has played less than 5 league games you can bring one in on emergency loan

I think the rule is that you can get an emergency loan keeper if none of the other keepers on your books have play 5 league games.

So the idea of going all out to sign Vigouroux and having just a released 21 year old ex-academy development keeper who can play some cup games as back up works as an emergency keeper can be signed between transfer windows incase of injury.

I see Vigouroux mentioned a lot on here but have we actually even been linked with him at all or is he just a keeper we as fans would like?

He was linked by Unofficial Vale but they said that they weren't 100% sure. He is highly rated by Orient fans and I think people on here are being hopeful. He would be a good signing but the history with DF makes me doubt it. You never know though!

Still quality and will take the piss in this league like Wes Hoolahan did at Cambridge. Charlton fans have given him great reviews and told Orient fans to avoid looking at his age as he's still got a great engine, great footballing brain and will dictate games with ease at this level.

Any thoughts on possible left winger signings to compete with Hurst as we need a fourth winger for a full set Worral/Amoo/Hurst.......Mckirdy and Montano have gone so there should be a decent wage for a very good player.

For me that would be Rodney. I thought he was far better when he played on the left rather than upfront.

Yes I'd have thought so too but worth asking the question on that sort of player. He does seem to be based in the Bucks/Oxfordshire area though so you'd think he'd be more inclined to stay in darn sarf as they say unless it's a really good offer.
