I thought it was Wildes who stuck his oar in and drove Burge away, Micky seemed to be able to get the best out of him.

I think Adam's said everything about Burge in his autobiography.

By literally saying nothing.

The lad is seriously ill.

Another signing later this afternoon confirmed on twitter.

I did start to make a big mad Flitcroft advent calendar yesterday with the players faces on the squares but lost interest. Might have to revisit if we carry on with this one a day business, I'm enjoying how it keeps the interest and fan engagement levels high.

5 CB’s would suggest we’ll be going down the 5 at the back route.

I’m convinced we’ll be going down the back 5 route with long throws coming in from all angles. How strange that it seems all of a sudden teams are making more use of a long throw.

We're miles ahead of League 2 in terms of signing.

Only club with 5 signings - Carlisle and Rovers on 4, a few clubs on 3. Many haven't done anything yet.

Bear in mind that we didn’t have enough players to have a 5 a side game though.

Not the one who tw@tted Doug Loft surely

Don't get me wrong, he was awful, Wolves and Bradford away will live long in the memory. Carl Dickinsons recent appearance on that under the cosh podcast was really interesting though. Lofty wasn't exactly blameless according to Dicko.

Higher percentage of goals coming from set pieces? As good as corners on small grounds. Lack of goals from open play, but looks like we may be improving that too,
