I never started this debate on this thread. I think you will find you did stating unsubstantiated rumours as fact. I've hijacked nothing, just questioned some opinions you've claimed as facts.

silly billy,i think you will find it wasn't me who mentioned youth first blossom and it was you who was spouting the rubbish about Askey not being backed like DC is,weird but you accused another poster of confusing themselves when i reality it seems its you but none the less ... much love

KTF in DC we trust fellow valiant

So did Adam Eckersley and Toby Whelan tbf.
Just not sure how you can say he'd be "great" based on playing for Kings Lynn (and conceding a load all season) after being let go as a teenager by Man Utd and consequently snapped up by Grantham Town, wherever that is.
Wasn't it Toby Edser and Callum Whelan?

Back on topic re targets and rumours on transfers, does anyone have any new suggestions?i watched Hartlepool v Bromley earlier and Pools have a cracking attacking midfielder named Rhys Oates who ran the show.He would command a decent fee and that would also push Taylor down the order.Centre Half previously mentioned named Johnson didn't stand out.

I dont think Johnson had much to do tbf

As for Oates he seems to have come good at Hartlepool and i am sure we were linked with him last summer but not to sure on him tbh

Yes sorry, got the two combined. I don't think Whelan ever actually played for us despite being here for a few months.

Sorry Tony, you misunderstand. I am not in football management. Hard to be a case of double standards. DC is unprofessional in his field I am not.  Our case has been a basket case for many years. You may not recall the owner before C&K.

What are you on about now?!

GK
Lewis Ward - Exeter

DF
Mal Benning - Mansfield
Dan Jones - Harrogate
Ryan Sweeney - Mansfield
James Clarke - Walsall
Ryan Johnson - Hartlepool
Aaron Martin - Hamilton

MF
Stuart Sinclair - Walsall

ST
Josh Gordon - Walsall
James Wilson - Salford

As an overview… many I’ve missed?

I think you might have missed out Tom Nicholls whose contract at Crawley Town is now up. He signed for Bristol Rovers under DC for £350k and is an excellent hold up player, which would suit a partnership with Rodney. Last season he was Crawley's player of the season and their top scorer with 15 in 46 games (so no injury record).

He would be an excellent signing for us.

No doubt he is getting lots of offers.

I think I saw that Crawley have taken up the option in his contract and therefore have him for another year.

Bit of a random one, they had an horrendous defensive record.

His last 6 appearances

4-4, 1-1, 5-3 loss, 3-1 loss, 4-1 loss, 5-1 loss .

Played 18 games conceded 47 !!!

Scott Brown let in a couple of dozen in his last 10 games, or so - not all his fault...our defence was <ovf censored> at that time!
