Tom Pope has an article in the Sentinel today confirming it's not the same hamstring as last time with Gibbo which is good news. With it happening, what, 6 minutes into the Orient game during his first big sprint chasing after a through ball up the right channel I wonder if it the warm ups had anything to do with it.

It'll be interesting if it puts off any interest in the summer because of the injury risk and we can get a new deal agreed.

Is it bad that that was my first thought when he got injured? Actually, that's not true. My first thought was that the rumoured move to Sheffield United wouldn't be happening.

It’s very quiet with rumours across platforms.

Another forward option the priority for me. Don’t understand why we need a RB. We never play 4 at the back! Right footed CB who is comfortable on the ball maybe,  although I have been really impressed by Martin in the last 2 matches. He’s defended very very well  as the central CB.

I'd expect to see a RB before close of play. I'd be pleasantly surprised to see a striker, I just can't see it happening despite Dave leaving.

I think we're banking on Wilson, Harrett, Edmondson & Proctor once he gets fit. I think he will be back on the verge of first team in 2/3 weeks.

You never know though, they might surprise me.

He was a decent winger when on the right wing under Askey - he needs to be played on that side if we want to use his pace, as otherwise he just has to come back onto his right.

As i said previous i dont want to stray away from transfers but as its quiet i will comment here

I have never seen Amoo as a get to the byline winger if i am honest,maybe on a few occasions he has....now players like Aisworth,Guppy,McCarthy,JMW and the late JJJ(after he had beat his man and gone back to beat him again) and maybe a few more,now they were get to the byline wingers.

I'd like to see a replacement for Rodney come in. Would be great to have an experienced one to add in. Dom Telford hasn't had any bids according to Newport?

Not a chance we will sign Telford and if we do i will go Vale naked not just tomorrow but for the rest of the season(i just like getting naked,others might not like it) 🙂 but i see what you mean it would be nice to get that kind of striker in to help try see us over the line

Yes if i was to guess i would also say it will be a young RB on loan who hopefully has a bit of pace as we lack that at the back at the moment.

We are open to a forward coming in but only if one we want becomes available as in Vales eyes we aren't desperate for one whether we think so or not

Not all Vale fans.... not the vast majority.... but that is a reference to my opinion of those on VTID and Twitter who systematically bring the worst views of vale fans to the fore after every game. Some of them are absolutely shameful. 

Maybe your own advice would be useful... its not a comment about you, unless you are one of them, so being less sensitive may be a good approach? 😉
