Gyollai was on trial at Vale with Maddison when I was washing seats a couple of summers ago.

A man mountain, ex Stoke. Don't think he's had much actual game time anywhere he's been.

I'm 6 foot 1 and he towered above me. Askey opted for Maddison as back up after the trials

Not to sure he fits the remit tbh,i know he has followed DC but how old is Sinclair 36?

Yeah true... his age will surely count against him.

EDIT: Just had a look he is only 33 (Still older than we are after I guess)

I remember the rumours about him being considered... if I remember right he was quite highly thought of. Could be a good backup option? Although they will want money for them... Their chairman has been on twitter this afternoon saying how Mo Eisa is a brilliant players for a league 1 club and will score 25 goals if you pay him the transfer fee!

Their forum reaction is that they are surprised / disappointed that James Clarke has been released and they suspect he has requested to leave... obvious links to us.

31 year old Centre half that followed DC from Rovers and is Walsall's captain. He can also play left back which increases optionallity.

Some also saying they are surprised Norman hasnt been offered... He's their 6ft 2 rightback... good backup to Gibbo?

Gordon and McDonald are a mystery... both VERY highly rated a few years ago and gone off the boil.

Wiki has this interesting snippet about Clarke's wages:

"Clarke was offered a new contract at Bristol Rovers at the end of the 2018–19 season and despite being offered an improved two-year contract, he opted to follow former boss Darrell Clarke to Walsall having worked under him at Salisbury and Rovers on a deal worth £104,000 per year."

And that was two seasons ago!

£2k a week... we would have a few of those in the squad I reckon... well not any more.

Hopefully, we are offering Conlon an improved deal with some of the cash we have freed up.

Reed is class, will go to League 1

Broom is also a class player for League 2, but would cost money and Cheltenham want him back.

Frazer-Tracey is a wildcard but a classic 'non-league Peterborough' player.

I suspect we will take Clarke and Sinclair.

Sinclair isnt the player he once was, but he will be a cheap, trusted option to provide cover at Defensive midfielder.. As Ed Walker on Twitter has mentioned. Used correctly he can be a very useful metronome for a club in league 2.

Same age as Joyce.

L1 Ipswich -

Freddie Sears, James Wilson, Emyr Huws, Tristan Nydam, Cole Skuse, Luke Chambers, Alan Judge and Stephen Ward

Nydam and Wilson decently rated, the latter player of the season.

Alan Judge should still have a couple of decent years in him. Not sure if he'd drop to this level, but a brilliant player.

Apparently released so as not to trigger an extension clause like Legge.
