As much as I'd rather it wasn't Sutton they've won it fair and square. The National League is one of the hardest to get out of the right way, so its merited. We can't be moaning about a Euro

With Notts County beating Sutton tonight the race for a return to league football is very much on for Torquay, Hartlepool, Stockport, Wrexham, Notts C, Halifax or Chesterfield.   Wrexham and Stockport

A phrase never heard on Location location

4-2 Torquay horrendous penalty decision probably won them the game .

Whitfield not even on the bench

Ridiculous decision.  Defender clearly played the ball. That’s two play off games decided by ludicrous refereeing.

Always controversy Jacko year after year. It's sad that whole seasons work can hinge on this sort of thing.

Roger Milford still haunts me

Me too. I tuned into the latest Vale podcast today where Ian Taylor recounted the game but, fortunately, he didn't mention Milford's name. Who says referees don't turn games. Horrible when you're on the receiving end!

Stockport v Hartlepool at 12

Stockport strike me as a bit of a Lincoln. A club with a feel good factor and on the up.

Arguably bring 1500 plus to Vale for a good atmosphere.

That said I'm rooting for Torquay to win the final next weekend at Bristol city .

Stockport would be a better one for us. Just up the road a little bit of rivalry.
