Season ticket announcement?

The only thing that sort of rubs me the wrong way, is the use of the words "Loyal supporter". So if you for one reason or another, didn't have the possibility of basically gifting the club 300 quid, you're not "Loyal" in their eyes?
In my opinion, that wording is very unfortunate in making loyalty all about money.

It seems a nice gesture. That’s all it is. I don’t know what people were expecting? There are thousands of season ticket holders, any big, grand return would probably cost the club more money, when the whole point of keeping the season tickets was to help the club!

It’s a difficult circumstance and one that will hopefully never happen again. The club has been put in a difficult position, as have the fans. However, I don’t think the offer is much good.

People have spent over £300 on season tickets, perhaps more if you buy your kids one too etc. They haven’t been to one single live game but have been offered to watch a stream worth £10. What if multiple season ticket holders live in the same household and thus watch the same stream?

In return, season ticket holders are being offered a scarf, a £10 voucher and two free tickets to games that no one wants to go to. It’s hardly compensation is it?

I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people ask the club for a full season ticket refund.

I think it's a nice gesture they could have offered nothing

I agree, i certainly wasn't expecting anything other than possibly extra money off in the shop. I do realise though some people were thinking they may get the ticket at a much reduced price.

True. Or an expat fan who has spend hundreds on I follow streams. However, let’s not kid ourselves, the loyal fan who spends nothing is not worth as much to any club than the fickle one who spends more.
