I think this game is too soon for lots of changes but i think when we are down to 3 to go i think we will see some different faces in the team...RCG,McKirdy and Pope and maybe even Bailey

After 5 wins on the bounce you’d be disappointed if you were one of the players dropped. 
 

I’d add Gibbo to your list of players as well that could feature as the season goes on.

Although not yet mathematically safe, I’d say that Vale are staying up now, after Colchester losing tonight. Keep it going , DC , and get as many points as you can. I’d expect an unchanged side tomorrow, and Morecambe will know they’re in a game. Vale 2-0 .

Because we’ve been mismanaged and now we’re on the up and up. Give it a season and the places will be reversed.

We’ll be in League 1 before them.

Finishing in the top half would be a massive achievement that was totally unthinkable before this run started. Aim for that, which means winning quite a few of the remaining games.

All the top 5/6 standings say to me is any team invested in properly and with even a semi-competent professional set up can challenge for automatic promotion. That’s what makes me excited for next season because I think we’re in a better position now to catapult out of obscurity than we were before Adams got us promoted. The bedrock is there to build and build, and when all is said and done Vale will be above Morecambe next season and beyond. We are the best run club in the league now due to passion and philanthropy - couple that with (hopefully) a decent manager / coaching set up, the future is bright.

If we slap them up in the short term as well that would be icing on the cake.
