To be honest, hardly a surprise this sort of rumour is coming out, all the signs are of financial troubles beyond the means of the board to resolve.

 

The only things that I can imagine they might think could save them from it would be:

 

1. Someone puts money into the club, whether that be board, ex board or new money. It would be mental to do so given the problems but not completely inconceivable with this lot.

 

2. They try to launch season tickets and get some cash in that way. Again you would be have to be nuts to hand them any money at the moment with the danger of losing it quite quickly for no benefit, but as shown by P&G last night there are some folk so blind to the situation that it is again not completely inconceivable that it could happen.

 

IMHO it is however inevitable. This board are to customer relations what Gerald Ratner was to marketing. Ultimately they can do whatever they like, but the fundamental point that Lloyd et al don't seem to grasp is that they have irretrievably lost too big a chunk of the customer base to continue the way they are. They will not win back those they have alienated.

 

Losing 20% off the gates is too big a gap for a club that has been burdened with debt as we have.

 

The new broom cannot come quick enough. Once it does, it won't automatically change things overnight, but over time we can get back to where we were and a new owner can unite the club for the common goal.

 

Let's hope that goal is getting out of this league the right way rather than the one below.i

Can't see it personally, these crooks will have something up their sleeves- borrow, borrow, loan, loan etc, etc.

Anything to hide the real facts, anything to give them an opportunity of screwing an extra few grand apiece.

However, its not good practice to miss HMRC payments!!

 

even the best lenders cant borrow for ever! if these board members take us to admin before they will let us be took over by whoever sums it up really but hey i hope so bye bye =========
