Think we're doing well to stay in this, they just have to kick the ball in the air and it flies towards our goal. Hopefully get in at half time without conceding and then see how they defend with a gale blowing against them!

Have you seen the pitch wind against us and rhe pitch is terrible really difficult conditions to play in

More reason to keep it down and play short passes.  Played on pitches like this and our coach told us to keep it down and short passes.

If we can keep 0-0 and with the wind behind us we may nick a goal or two.

Wasn't their pitch newly laid at the start of the season, to replace the previous artificial pitch? - as they had to play their first few fixtures away from home while it was being done.

Played at Doncaster think they had artificial pitch

These for me are a throwback to Wimbledon in the 80's. The game at Vale was horrible.

Artificial pitches have come on so much since the pitches that Oldham and Preston had - anyone that's played at St. George's Park or even Stafford Town knows that. No idea why they can't be allowed, especially at lower league clubs like Harrogate, they'd be so much better than this beach.

Will take that overall. We’ve had to tough it out against a strong wind and a team which is not subtle about what it is trying to do. But we’ve kept it scoreless which is a good sign of the character of this team now.

Think Rebecca Welch has done a decent job there. Barely noticed her which is a good sign for a referee I’d say.

These two misogynistic commentators want to be pulled up by BBC York, sexist comments about being under pressure.

What have they said? She does have the burden of additional pressure due to the milestone and the media coverage that it is bringing.  Not sure if that was the context and I’m not listening to BBC York.
