Lee Collins

I've started a just giving page for the family of Lee from the Port Vale family.

Difficult times for us all so any donation welcome. Then I'm sure the powers that be from Vale or Rob on here can sort out some sort of tribute for Lee and present a cheque whatever we can raise.

Gutted at the news and it won't bring Lee back but let's see if we can get a grand for his family in memory of Vale supporters.

Awful news, had to check it was 'our Lee Collins'. heart goes out to family and friends - 32 - no words..

Lee to me was quality, a leader, very much in the mold of others like George Pilkington. I always felt he was "too good" for us tbh and deserved to play at a higher level. Gutted to see him leave. So sad this. RIP Lee

Always amazed me he didn't make it in The Championship. Would have been pleased to have seen him back in a Vale shirt, even at 32. A very talented defender.

Good point, I’m sure if we made a move for him he would have come back, no disrespect to Yeovil.

A tragic update about Lee Collins - https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11729/12268589/yeovil-town-captain-lee-collins-died-from-hanging-court-hears

Can I please say to anyone reading this and who feels suicidal thoughts to reach out for help. There are people who will listen, who won't judge you, who can help you and who can help you turn your life around.

I would urge anyone on this forum who is suffering from depression to reach out to the Samaritans through this link - https://www.samaritans.org/

Or call them free on 116 123.

Take care all!
