Their goal was down to Legge all day long. Stood waiting for the ball to reach him, allowing their guy to get in ahead of him. Played very well I think. Conlon and manny playing some lovely stuff, particularly manny who's played around 3 lovely through balls and split their defence wide open. No particularly bad performances, although I really don't know why Joyce even attempts forward passes.

I’ve been critical of Robinson but tbf if you look back he did try to chase the ball down. I don’t think we held too bad a shape defensively, Legge committed to the header from a decent in swinging cross and they had a runner who just got in front to glance home. I think you have to credit the opposition tbh, they didn’t panic when we got numbers back to crowd out the first attempts to cross and worked it well. Still incredibly frustrating though, don’t think they’ve threatened otherwise.

I didn't see it that way mate, I saw a half arsed jog where at no point did he even look like considering reaching a leg out to block it. Any appearance of effort was a token gesture.
