I agree. If I'm missing something, I'd be happy for someone to point out exactly what he brings to the team. He doesn't even jump for headers, he loses it whenever given the ball through, he hits powder puff shots when he gets the chance, he doesn't hold it up - what exactly is his role or strength? Cullen's a better finisher, Guthrie is better as a hold up man or to flick it on, Taylor would do better at creativity. In my mind any of them on for Robinson would improve us. What does Clarke see that I don't?

Why don’t you nip round his house later with a mob, some lit torches and pitch forks? All you’ve done is moan about him. We’re winning and doing alright here. Clearly the others aren’t doing enough to get in the side or else they’d be starting ahead of Robinson. Neither Guthrie or Cullen have done enough in games to suit the system we’re playing, so Robinson is the best of a bad bunch at the moment. Taylor isn’t a forward so why would he play him when Clarke has said he wants 2 forwards on. I trust the manager over a lad on a forum.

I agree but I've seen them given (against us but not for us).  Just thought it was a bit unnecessary to put an arm out like that.  Their forward certainly thought it was worth asking the question.

All I can think is that Cullen isn’t showing enough either in terms of general fitness or the right attitude. Robinson’s been more of hindrance this half.

I like that we seem to have a bit more grit about us.

Robinson put a ball into the box, but nobody there to get on it.  All the Vale players were on the edge of the penalty area, so why put it across the mouth?  Why not the penalty area at least - away from their goalie.  No just not thinking.

Come on Vale, feel we need a couple more goals, as these look like they could get an equaliser.  Playing some nice football.
