It will be tough being a Crewe fan, but ‘us fans’ were not in a position to do anything about the abuse that was going on. I personally think that people must have had concerns about Bennell but didn’

I'm not one of those "in the know" I don't know anyone who is, I don't have the ear of anyone at any football club. I'm just an ordinary fan who loves football and supports Port Vale I do know that e

I would hope everyone on here would be sensible with a very serious topic and not use this to "point score" just because it mentions both Stoke City and Crewe. People become fans of clubs for man

A very moving programme. Andy Woodward was so brave in speaking out. Paul Stewart was a person I was never very keen on and I thought he wasted his talent. I was so wrong about him. He spoke so well and his mother too. Steve Walters also showed great courage. So sad that bad people prey upon innocent childrens’ love of the game.

There's a lot of decent Crewe fans who've started to put their heads above the parapet and criticise Bowler/Gradi/other fans in denial. Unfortunately there is still a large percentage who continue to make it all about them, that the club and fans and Gradi are being victimised...simply unbelievable. I feel sorry for Phil1965.

For balance in terms of the screenshots, like I say there's a lot of decent fans standing up, some of whom are falling out with the ignorant ones. We have a good bloke in Phil1965 on here. They're putting their heads above the parapet to confront what's going on head on, and fair play to them. But some of the comments I just can't believe. "not happy with our clubs response theres a club up the a500 who would be happy with your support" is one.

It would be unfair to ostriches to compare them to Crewe fans.

At least when ostriches stick their heads in the stand it's out of concern for the welfare of their offspring.

Just watched Part one

Absolutely harrowing watch and just sat there numb.

Brave blokes and the bit by Stewart about telling his mum and dad was heartbreaking .

Dario is now claiming he isn't banned from football, he's just not allowed to work with minors.

Glad he cleared that up.

There is only one reason you are not allowed to work with minors , they are not safe under your supervision. Pretty damming.

All I can say is that last night was a damning indictment of the club I support. There is no way that boys should have been staying overnight at his house. The club needs to stand up and say we got it wrong. Until they do, I’m struggling to see how I can continue to support them, despite the fact that we have a good team at the moment.

And on another note, today is the day that 12 year old Ashton Hulme has to have part of his leg amputated. At least this has brought our three local clubs closer together.

I've just watched the first part from last night.

Someone else has also out something like this but there was something I never liked about Paul Stewart. My god, the agony that that man has carried with him all of his life is beyond anything I can wrap my head round.

Absolute full respect to all of those lads who spoke out on the programme.  You can still very much see the anguish in them.

The evil that people inflict on others never ceases to shock.

And thank you all for your kind words.
Thank you Phil for having the courage to voice your opinion especially as it's to the club you love, but it's not only Crewe, other clubs are equally culpable.
I've watched the first part, not looking forward to tonight's if it's just as harrowing but hopefully it's helping all those who have been abused and their families too.
I know it's on late at night but I think the FA, PFA etc should show it to all youth teams in it's entirety and young sports people in all sports....hopefully it may just get others to speak out and stop further abuse.

Great point this: we never know what other people are carrying around with them. Judge not etc
