Match Thread: Colchester United v Port Vale

I am torn between paying to watch a magnificent away victory on the back of our great home performance and not watching the terrible "big crowd" performance we used to get when everyone's expectations were sky high after a good game. I will probably pay and watch, hoping that Theo will show us all what a fine player he is. 😀

Any injuries from Tuesday? Not seen any reports, although Dave W took a couple of whacks late on

Under Clarke I doubt we’ll have any idea until 1400 Saturdays/1800 Tuesdays unless it’s an obvious bad injury, he keeps it all under wraps.

Well after this game the players have a whole week prepare for tough game v Crawley conquerors of Leeds so isuggest we do more of what we do on the last few tuesday night games than what we are seeing on the saturday game efforts .

Big game i want intensity and I want us be better than second half v Newport .

I'll be watching CAN WE BE .

Our players should be bang up for it but so will theres .

Same team for me who started v Newport with one change Swann for  Robinson and I want see more from Rodney apart from goal and a few nice hold ups in closing stages  v Newport didnt for me get involved enough .

Get involved and make a difference .

Indeed they do!  Since they scored in a 1-1 draw at Vale they have played 10 more away games and scored once - they have failed to score in their last 9.  They've also scored only 7 goals in their 8 home games since then.  That's a total of 8 goals in their last 18 games.

Were you a Maths teacher? 😀

Personally i would play Robinson who knows a little consistency and playing against his old club where he scored goals could reignite his appetite for goals.
