Tbf he hasn't done a bad job there, their away is actually quite decent with 7 wins and 4 draws

Reading on their forum,"they attack teams on their travels, as no fans in stadiums."That worries me ,as they'll probably score a couple against our defence.Our attack is really poor too .Please Vale ,prove me wrong ,as I fear a 1-2 defeat.

I honestly don’t know how we stand it as fans. The thing is that I’m not even from Burslem , but it would hurt badly if Vale were to go down. So , I can’t imagine what it would do to fans of the club , young and old , from the Mothertown.  Pure heartbreak.  

We need to win on Tuesday, even if it is only 1-0 , with a deflection off  a defenders arse . A win would mean an awful . If we lose , I fear that we will go down. 
It’s definitely not boring . It rarely is with Vale . Right now though , I’d take mid table obscurity.

He says "I have to stick with the players" and "I have to support my players". He then says of the Cheltenham game "There are no positives to take" and finishes with "I want to make sure the players are hurting."

I don't think anyone would disagree with the criticism but why say he will "support the players" and then say he wants to make sure they are "hurting"?

I think it's got to be one or the other hasn't it? Either he supports them or criticises them. I can't see how you can do both because one cancels the other out.

If his media remarks are confusing to people reading it in the papers I hope his communications in the team talks aren't as confusing.

A minor point in the grand scheme of things but mixed messages don't help at this stage do they?

Perhaps he should have said it the other way round? “I hope the players are hurting because that was poor but I’ll stick by them.”?

Man management is appalling tbf. Constantly saying they arent good enough, they lack any kind of quality. The recruitment has been awful etc etc
I don't want to hear it atm and I'm sure the players and all involved with the club do ethier.
If they aren't good enough, so be it but to constantly drum that into them is not right.
I thought the interview I saw after Saturday was awful. DC knew the 'quality' of the players before he signed to manage them, end of.
Senior players jumping on it as well is not acceptable ethier imo. Talk about crushing people we have zero confidence.

At the end of the interview he also takes responsibility himself for results so he’s not putting it all on the players:
