Scott Brown pulls no punches on recruitment.

Outspoken maybe, but he was spot on.

We've said it for 4-5 seasons now. We keep on prioritisng quantity over quality.

Successful teams are build steadily window by window. Keep your best players, add 2-3 to the squad, then another odd one in January, and see how far it gets you.

Don't sign players to sit in the stands. They need to make a difference.

We could also work the loan system better and again get players here who will start games and make a difference not just as cover in case of injury.

Agree with that. Controversial but can’t we get a couple from the 365

'Quality over quantity‘, but it’s proven that this hasn’t happened and records show quite the opposite. I understand that some players, don’t want to come to us and others make astronomical wage demands and we cannot be held to ransom and quite rightly so. Hopefully with a DOF and a new manager, let’s hope that’s all in the past

Think the quantity over quality thing is sometimes because the manager signs players, finds out they're not good enough and so signs more players to try and replace them

He's absolutely bang on, sadly.

For a current player to come out and say that, it must be bad.

It also cannot be a happy ship if he is prepared to come out and say that.

To be fair, imagine being part of a squad that had a really good season. Every chance we could have made the playoffs last year.

Then we sign utter dross when  we could be kicking on.

Must be very frustrating.

It’s brutal but an honest assessment.

Points the finger at Aspin and Askey and someone to the board but you can’t disagree with what he suggests can you. Assume the senior lads agree with him but it’s up to the other lads to prove a point.

Sadly so far many have proved gutless and cowardly.

I'm glad that someone has called these frauds out.

For those worried about 'upsetting the dressing room'; these clowns were on a run of 3 wins in 22 with no fans in the ground and no one publicly calling them out. Probably the worst squad in the last 40 years and they've had it easy.

It can't get any worse. If Brown upsets them a bit then great, because they've all upset me greatly over the last few months.

Words of a man entering his last few months of employment, true or not. They have let themselves and the fans down. It's all been said before, I wonder just how much do we really matter as fans in the game. Look at all this VAR sh*t for example.

My slant for what it's worth.

How about do your talking on the pitch. We already have the future poet laureate Popey with his article.

Legge came out tweeting and banging the drum after Kings Lynn and apologies followed. That went well.

I'd of preferred Brown to of kept his thoughts to himself.

Do your talking on the pitch and not in The Lardinel

Well said, epitomises what the club is about. There'll be plenty talking or shall I say bull sh*ting should we be relegated.
