Thanks, I've just read that.

I think it is very honest. It's going to be a heck of a summer sort out.

Please Let’s hope so .

I  am not one for writing players off they are footballers for a reason because they have being spotted at a early age and they have qualities that means they get a professional contract ,now its up to them to prove there worth starting tomoz and the ones Brown is aiming his views at  should all I imagine if chosen start performing to the level what is expected of them .

IF not he is proven right for Vale sake I hope they prove him wrong

Honest assessment, which will hopefully spur some action in the dressing room.

We have accumulated extra bodies, and on the whole not first team players.  Those that remain from previous regimes have largely regressed, but are still the better players, hence we have moved backwards as a club.

Limp to safety, wholesale clearout and rebuild with smaller numbers and higher quality.  Bolster squad with younger ex  academy or loan players who will not count towards the squad limit.

Massive job to be undertaken - glad DC and DF will have had a few months to review our slipshod operation, putting in place firmer foundations for future success

I wonder how many of our better players ( yes i know its a short list) also feel this way.  Could be why our form changed so dramatically , loss of faith in Askey and growing  despair amongst the decent few who were carrying the team.

Yes . I do agree . Good Luck . for tomorrow’s game vale . (( Vale it I Die ))

This article will either spur the dross on or just make them give up.  Probably the latter with our players.

That was an honest report from him and one the fans knew very well.

Looking for a response tomorrow from the players.  Probably our lot will just let the opposition through and take lumps out of Brown 🤣.

May be we will see them play better and prove they are not that bad.  Keeping the ball on the deck would be a start instead of all this hoof ball to the opposition.

Perhaps some of the numpties criticising Clarke on this site  will read this article and get off his back. His job is hard enough.

I agree . Come on the vale .
