I guarantee if we went down we’d probably get better away visitors than we ever did pre Covid in this division. The likes of Chesterfield, Notts County, Wrexham and Stockport would bring many more fans than anyone in this division apart from Bradford on a good day.

I would say the conf premier has more league heritage than league 2 itself these days.

Definitely some truth in that claim and although, like everyone else, I'm hoping against hope that we avoid the dreaded drop, but from a purely personal point of view, as I live in Solihull, there would be a little consolation as I could watch Solihull Moors v Port Vale without travelling for miles!

We could have 90 shots on goal and they could be down to 8 men and Alan Buckley would trip over his laces and head the ball into the goal from 30 yards and we’d lose 1-0 .......may have something to d

I did mate, I also described Bolton as horrific.  What I'm saying is since we beat Southend we have 2 points and they have 7 albeit from one more game. You only have to look at Fulham. Newca

Grimsby still have to play Tranmere, Salford, Cheltenham, Bradford, Bolton, Exeter and Cambridge AND still have to make 10 points up on us Barrow still have to play Cheltenham, Newport, Exeter tw

Worrying for me is we still have

Bolton Newport Exeter and Morecambe at home who are all in the play offs and a fast improving Bradford.

Jesus, i'm even more concerned now.

We might get something from Newport and Bradford , but that’s all. Bolton , Morecambe, and particularly Exeter will be very tough games.

Lets hope that some of them capitulate under the pressure of securing a playoff spot against a rejuvenated Port Vale.

Grimsby still have to play Tranmere, Salford, Cheltenham, Bradford, Bolton, Exeter and Cambridge AND still have to make 10 points up on us

Barrow still have to play Cheltenham, Newport, Exeter twice, Tranmere and FGR AND have to make 6 points up on us

Southend still have to play Morecambe, Exeter and Newport AND have to make 6 points up on us

Colchester still have to play Salford, Tranmere, Bradford, Bolton, Cheltenham, Salford and Tranmere

Picking out tough games will make you worry, but we all have them... If anything, I wouldn't swap our run in with anyone else, Maybe Southend at a push but certainly not if I had to give up the 6 points we have on them.

When we go down the academy and the foundation lose the funding so there's going to be a lot of people losing their jobs plus all the good community work will be scaled down. That's without the league money dropping by 500k in the first year and then down to about 200k after that I just hope they have the money to fund it otherwise we are going bust again

That needs telling to the players who haven't turned up for 90% of this season .Shame on them all.

I have a feeling Barrow will beat Walsall tonight.

There's been a lot of positivity around Vale recently which I find bizarre.

"We scored 2 at Cheltenham" - but didn't win

"We played well vs Oldham" - but didn't win

"The fans forum was good"

The reality is we're in MASSIVE danger of going out of the football league here.

Walsall haven't won since Clarke left, please do us a favour tonight!

I'm not even counting Barrow as one of the teams to worry about I think they will finish above us. For me it's one of southend Colchester and us.
It's a terrible time to be a Vale fan.

Wtf is Carl on about on the radio saying we need a miracle and have to win half our remaining games? I'm sure we nobody will go down on 50+ points. 45 should be more than sufficient i.e. three wins.

First time ever, he was nearly half decent last week,  resorted back to non sensicle attention seeking this week who also fears that Grimsby,Barrow and Southend will suddenly hit title winning form.
