Decent first 45. Taylor looks better, Montano is a menace and Rodders is a constant threat.

Guthrie is clearly woeful, so I hope he isn't teaching Rodney anything.

I don't care how well they trained, or that Clarke's new, Mills and Crookes should be nowhere near the 11. Blindingly obvious.

From the way he talks to the press and expresses himself, Clarke seems to think he's some kind of mini Mourinho. For me, him and Flitcroft come across as lower league big time charlies.

Decent enough half for the most part, need to make more of the set pieces (we'll let Conlon off his tame effort, he can't score every time!) as well as any obvious chances, but encouraging.

Is it my imagination, or did Monty swap over with Taylor on a couple of occasions to try and get him in down the channel? Looked like a deliberate ploy (as opposed to improvised), to exploit Monty's ability further forward, without being over-exposed if/when we lost it. Either way, we've obviously been working in training on interplay between the 3 in MF, the wingbacks and forwards, some good little passages of play between them.

Cambridge do look very good when they get it around our box though.

Good effort. Tactics seem to be working today and we are creating chances now and then. Guthrie did well to create the chance but looked like Joelinton once he was through. A goal may have done him the world of good. He seemed a bit too casual again for me. Hope he proves me wrong. Similar to all season could have been a different game if we had gone 1 up.
