Terrible lack of impact from a new manager. Hope to God he can get at least three points from the next two games.

The Oldham game is an absolute must win. C&K deserve more from their investment.

Not read through all the posts but as it's titled "Darrell Clarke", I wanted to post my thoughts. When you come in as a new manager you have to focus on the immediate issues. If you think back to

Players deserve credit for tonight but special shout out to Darrell Clarke for me. He set us up with a game plan that saw us dominate the majority of the first half. We should've been 2 goals to

Heres an idea why dont we judge him on what he does at vale rather than going off the word of previous fans. There are fans that love him like bristol rovers and fans who arent keen of him walsall. Wh

Its a lottery the way he is picking teams. Players won't know what is going on.

Think I'm right in saying he's picked everybody apart from Fitzpatrick so far.

Pope and Amoo long term out are the exception

Exactly. We need our best team out rather than constantly making changes to the team and formation. We all know we have several players that shouldn't be getting near a shirt.

Our first 11 is definitely good enough to move up this league. Lets hope we get them back soon and he plays them in a formation they know and will win games.

Did everyone expect miracles?

The squad is atrocious. One of the worst in history. And on top of that our only half decent players are forever injured.

Not miracles but at least half a chance of winning a game

Agree with DC on the injury situation. Why have we had so many hamstring related injuries, it cannot be bad luck, something has been seriously wrong on the fitness front.

Too many weights and not enough yoga ?

He certainly does like to blame factors out of his control.

Awful so far. Miserable football that isnt even getting us results. No idea what is going on with the team selections. Dont mind changes, but starting a player one game and then dropping then from the squad and visa versa makes literally no sense.

weve scored one goal in his four matches. i know the quality isnt there and were near the bottom for a reason but if this trend continues then we prob score another 6/7 goals in the remaining matches. Clarke will have had 18 matches when the season ends, if we go dwon then he has to have some of the blame. The quality in the final third is worse than conference standard, its awful. the only hope of staying up is to somehow nick a win or two and the other three dont put a run together and overtake us in the last couple of games of the season. relegation for the club and carols plans would be disaster.

Similar clubs to Vale have gone down and are still there,ie Notts County and Chesterfield.Time for the manager and playing staff to get a bloody win.No excuses anymore.

We all know it goes back to the recruitment in the summer where we failed to improve the first 11 and signed a bunch of makeweights to augment the squad.  That said, Clarke has come in and from the off imposed new formations whilst chopping and changing the starting lineup every game, OK one or two are enforced, this despite his correct observation that we assembled the squad to play 433.  He's chosen to shake the bag rather than take a more considered approach so he's making a rod for his own back to a certain extent.

He talks the talk if you like a bull shitter who blames everyone else. What has he done for us? Drainage, fresh water? Not points.

He's got us conceding less goals. Let's face it the only one who could with a defence like this

Trouble is we have been on a terrible losing run conceding goals for fun playing that way. I don't think he has a choice at present other than 352 however until the midfield 3 are prepared to put the foot on the ball and pass then we are pissing in the wind.
