Askey is the whole reason we’re in this mess and if we drop out the league it’s 100% on his head due to his unbelievably lazy recruitment!
Askey isn't the reason. dc and df have come in on massive wages and don't seem to have a clue

As bad as we are, and we are absolutely minging, it is worth remembering that we're missing so many key players that any side in the league would also struggle with. We can get away with one or perhaps two key players out. But Oyeleke, Worrall, Amoo and Pope is just soul destroying. If they were all fit they'd be 4 of the 5 or 6 players I'd actually want to keep going into next season. I dare say had they all been available then Clarke's current record would look considerably different.

Oyeleke worrall amoo pope and now Monty and gibbo again

that’s arguably our 6 best players out injured but let’s all blame the new manager

without them he is basically trying keep a non league team in league 2

Wish we had one of those short term "cooling off" periods where we could send DC back within the first month because we've changed our minds! 😄

Reason: faulty, don't like him, not as described, not fit for purpose. 😄

He knows there's a squad built for one system only. Maybe play that system at some point within a match so we can perhaps score some goals, then revert to a more solid defensive formation to try and hold on to a winning position.

433 got us into lots of winning positions under JA which we rarely hung on to and often conceded in the last 15 minutes of games.

This would seem like a logical approach to try for the next five games maybe?

Starting 532 isn't working.

Earn your money DC. Sick of hearing you whinging and whining and you've only been in charge of four games!

Seriously give your head a wobble
He’s had 4 games , Askey lost his first 4 or 5 if i remember rightly

The squad has been poor and struggled for the last 3 out of the last 4 seasons

We majorly overachieved last season and got lucky with injuries

This squad is poor , the best manager in the world would struggle with it

Askey is solely to blame for me , his lazy recruitment

Let’s get behind the manager please

I don't think it was lazy recruitment. He could only work within his budget and sign players who wanted to play for us.

It was the laziest recruitment possible. We had quite a few others interested that we didn’t go for. Instead we go for players that askey had previously managed. It couldn’t have been any lazier. Same as the window be it. There was nothing wrong with the budget.

Even worrall who doesn't score enough?

Carol on the search for a new manager “Shanahan also spelt out the requirements for the post telling the newspaper that he must bring pride in watching the team, play attractive football”

How many times have we actually had what most would consider our best 11 out this season, or even close to? You could probably count on one hand and still have fingers left.
