Plenty of effort so far but vey little actual quality. The new lad at the back has done fine. But in an ideal world Hurst would be a bench player at best right now, and Guthrie would still be back at Bradford. We do have a good looking subs bench though so hopefully they make a difference for is in the second half.

If I was our gaffer I'd be telling someone to crog McAnuff. He's by far their biggest danger.

I’m not! I like it!!! It’s something we’ve been notoriously bad at and like it or not it’s part and parcel of today’s game.

Yep, other than reading out birthdays (only when the ball is dead) the commentary is far better than you get from some on Radio Stoke.

So far a decent away performance but definitely room for improvement. Must say I think Conlon’s having a poor game. Not through lack of endeavour, can clearly see he’s trying, he’s just losing the ball a lot and there’s been a couple of times him and Joyce have been on top of each other and they’ve broken away.

Can't agree with that. Co-commentator is fine, but the main guy is an absolute sausage.

Looks like we’re set up for a draw here. Notice the only player we are committing forward with the 2 wingers and the 2 forwards is gibbons. We must be under unders to keep Crookes, Conlon and joyce back with the centre halfs. Maybe it’s wise to try and shut up shop after the previous games.
