You can’t use them in competitive games in our league.

If we had one to train on then certain players won’t be able to train on it due of the type of injuries they may have sustained in their career, it would mean that the physio would exclude them from training on astroturf.

Our pitch looks okay. With postponements not so bad. It looks way better than many others we have played on. But it is a pudding. The ball just sticks. 

But it ain't going to change.  So get on with it.

There's a man with a pick up who sells turf at a quid a roll on the road between falmouth and truro in the spring, I will keep an ear to the ground for when he is up and running again, its good stuff, done my lawn with it few years ago and its still in good nick.

I wonder what Accrington actually had to do.  If it was simply relaying a new pitch on the existing base that will be much cheaper than what would be needed at Vale Park.  We would have to dig deep to get rid of the ancient clay base and put a sand base and new drainage in place then lay the turf.  That will cost a lot more than £400k.

During a tour at Old Trafford, we were told that the hybrid pitch they had installed, cost £1 million. And they payed over 10 years.
